How do LightForce™ braces work?

LightForce™ braces straighten your smile with a series of fixed brackets, metal archwires, and elastics. Each bracket is customised for your exact smile, so LightForce™ braces require fewer adjustment appointments than other types of braces.

During adjustment appointments, Dr Sluiter we place target bends in your archwires to create gentle pressure on specific teeth. This will help to guide your smile into alignment over the course of treatment.
