Your First Visit To OrthodontiX

Starting orthodontic treatment is a big decision, and we want it to be one you are comfortable with and confident in. Here is what to expect from your first three visits
with us.

Your First Visit To OrthodontiX

How your free consultation works

On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly receptionist, who will help you fill out our new patient registration and medical history forms.

You will then meet with our Specialist Orthodontist, who will learn about your smile concerns and any goals you hope to achieve. We will also provide a comprehensive orthodontic examination, take photographs of your profile and teeth for future reference, and tentatively discuss potential treatment options.

Your complimentary appointment will last about 20 minutes. Please note that if you fail to attend your appointment or don't give us 24 hours' notice of cancellation, you may be charged a fee of $80.00.

Steps after your
initial visit

Here is what will happen if you decide to continue with orthodontic treatment: Records are now ($75 -$125)

After your free consultation, the next step is to take detailed orthodontic records. We will make a 3D scan of your teeth and take 1 or 2 X-Rays. This will give Dr Sluiter the information he needs to make a custom treatment plan that suits your smile goals.

Treatment Plan Appointment ($265 - $530 Depending on treatment required)

About two weeks after we take your records, you will meet with Dr Sluiter again to discuss your bespoke treatment plan in detail. He will recommend the best treatment plan for your needs but can also discuss available treatment alternatives with you.

We will also talk about the custom treatment quote and your flexible payment options. You will also receive a folder containing a consent form, payment contract, and a detailed letter confirming the treatment recommended for you.

You can ask any questions about treatment or payments during this appointment.
